Insulation Solutions for Every Kind of Weather

Keeping your home or building comfortable throughout our long, hot summers and frigid, snowy winters is difficult without the proper preparation. Installing quality insulation is the best way to stay warm and cozy during the winter, and cool during the summer. Our expert team at Cullen Insulation is here to prepare your structure with the right insulation for whatever weather Mother Nature throws our way. Let’s look at fiberglass insulation, one of the most effective insulation products you can choose

What is Fiberglass Insulation?

Fiberglass insulation is made from recycled glass pieces that are spun to create tiny fibers that can be used to insulate most areas of your home or building, including walls, ceilings, attics, and more. It’s one of the most popular and widely used insulation products on the market today and comes in two forms: batts/rolls and loose fill.

Batts/Rolls

The most familiar type of fiberglass, batts or rolls come in a blanket form that is ideal for unfinished walls, floors, and ceilings. These premade strips come in a variety of widths for a tight fit between wall studs, attic and floor joists, and beams. We use a variety of high-quality fiberglass batt products from Johns Manville and Owens Corning, including Owens Corning® PINK Next Gen™ Fiberglas™ Insulation, and Owens Corning® QuietZone®.

Loose Fill

Loose fill fiberglass is blown into open areas with a special machine to create a blanket of protection for your home or building. It’s often used to insulate attics, but can be installed in many places, including between floors, and interior and exterior walls. It’s a great choice for hard-to-reach spaces or closed cavities that need to be densely packed. We install highly effective loose fill products from Johns Manville and Owens Corning, including Owens Corning® PROPINK®.
