Living and building in North Dakota means planning for a little bit of everything. In Bismarck, winter temperatures can plunge well below zero, while summer often brings hot, dry days and long stretches of sun. Add in the steady winds that move across the Great Plains, and homes and buildings can lose a surprising amount of heat in winter and conditioned air in summer. That’s why proper insulation and air sealing matter so much here. When your building envelope is doing its job, you get better comfort, more even indoor temperatures, and energy savings that make a real difference throughout the year.

As North Dakota’s capital city, Bismarck has its own mix of historic neighborhoods, growing residential developments, public buildings, and expanding commercial spaces. From properties near the State Capitol to homes and projects across the growing Bismarck-Mandan metro area along the Missouri River, local buildings need insulation systems that can handle cold-climate demands and support long-term efficiency. Our team understands those conditions and helps customers choose solutions that fit both their structure and the season.

If rising utility bills, drafty rooms, or code-driven performance goals are on your mind, the Cullen team is here to help. As a trusted insulation contractor Bismarck property owners can count on, we work with homes and buildings of all sizes to improve energy performance, reduce unwanted air movement, and create spaces that feel better year-round. Whether you are building new, renovating, or upgrading an existing property, our dedicated team is ready to help you get the job done right.

Tailored Insulation Services for Our Bismarck Customers

Bismarck homes and buildings do not all need the same insulation approach, which is why we offer a range of services tailored to each project. Some properties need better thermal performance in attics, walls, or crawl spaces. Others need a stronger defense against the air leaks that drive up heating and cooling costs, especially during windy North Dakota weather. Our team looks at the full picture to recommend practical solutions that improve comfort, efficiency, and durability.

No matter the project, our goal is the same: quality work, clear communication, and the right product for the job.

Bismarck Team Members

Damon Reynolds

Branch Manager

Damon brings 27 years of experience in the construction industry to our Bismarck team. Before joining Cullen, he spent two decades in masonry, building a strong foundation in hands-on trades.

Damon’s favorite part of his job is overseeing projects and making sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish. He appreciates that his team members are easy to get along with and that insulation is easier on the body than masonry. Getting to know his customers is also a highlight of his day.

When he’s not on the job, you’ll likely find Damon fishing. His valuable advice for anyone entering the trades: “Don’t underestimate the competitive pay and the room for advancement. The opportunities are endless with the right mindset.”
